THE BENEFITS

Physical

  • POISE & POSTURE - Students are taught to stand tall, lifting from the waist to develop core strength muscles.
  • BALANCE - Various positions incorporated into each exercise are designed to enhance balance and coordination.  Stretching and lateral movement improves body strength and develops flexibility.

  • RHYTHM - Exercises are choreographed to modern music teaching students about timing and working to the beat of a set piece of music.

  • SELF DISCIPLINE - A section of the syllabus is taught at class each week, requiring students to maintain concentration in order to retain previously taught work.

  • TEAM SPIRIT - From age 7, girls have the opportunity to compete in team events, where they learn about the importance of commitment whilst experiencing the feeling of pride and team spirit.
